  • Miller Nash is a midsized Pacific Northwest law firm with offices in Portland and Central Oregon, and Seattle and Vancouver, Washington. Miller Nash operates under a "one-firm" mentality. This allows all attorneys to practice together cross-departmentally to provide the most efficient and innovative service to our clients. Since we work under a one-firm concept, each client is viewed as the "firm's" client rather than an individual attorney's client. This approach creates a harmonious working environment in which attorneys benefit from working together rather than competing with one another.

We have a rich and diverse culture – one of the reasons why the firm has a legacy of 134 years! Miller Nash attorneys enjoy practicing with one another, and it shows. Candidates often tell us that they are impressed by the genuine collegiality at the firm.

Our attorneys know how to enjoy life while maintaining an active and high-caliber legal practice. This doesn't mean that our attorneys work less or put forth less effort to produce the highest quality of work – it takes hard work and determination to be the best. But our billable-hour expectation allows our attorneys to also participate in their community and enjoy their out-of-office life.

From young associates to senior partners, we provide ongoing professional development opportunities along with an abundance of resources. Throughout their careers, our attorneys are provided with ongoing professional development opportunities. We provide these opportunities through assigned mentor relationships, in-house professional development offerings, outside learning opportunities, and an ongoing commitment to the development of all attorneys. In addition, our attorneys are assisted by a wide range of support professionals, including paralegals, legal secretaries, project assistants, librarians, file clerks, and specialists in graphics, systems, communications, legal editing, and business development.
