Commute Options of Steel Bridge Promo Winners
Here is Carol. She's got a skeeter (a one person pontoon boat) at home and thinks an invigortaing paddle across the Willamette might just be the best way to avoid any of the bridges!
Of course, she'll have to contend with barges and those speed boats racing up the river - so perhaps she'll stick to MAX after all. Luckily, she's coming in from the west side and won't have to contend with the Steel Bridge on a daily basis.
Carol tells us she loves her commute on MAX. She enjoys the time to read and to unwind after work. "I often look at the Sunset Highway as I'm traveling via MAX," she writes "and chuckle to myself because I'm not trapped in that commuter's parking lot!"
The MAX is a great option for west side commuters coming in to downtown. Keep an eye out for a special SmartTrips Downtown offer that promises first-class, front row parking at any MAX station of your choosing (hint: we didn't say what kind of parking...)
