Miller Nash Expands Central Oregon Practice


Local Law Firm Adds Accomplished Attorney to Legal Team

BEND, Ore. – July 16, 2009 – Miller Nash LLP has expanded its business practice in Central Oregon with the addition of attorney Jason Conger. At Miller Nash, Conger will continue his practice in corporate, securities and venture capital law.

Jason Conger

Conger represents emerging companies in general corporate matters, as well as a broad range of complex transactions, including real estate syndications; mergers and acquisitions; debt and equity financing; and stock and bond offerings.

He is counsel to companies in the healthcare, financial services, manufacturing and software industries and has represented investment banks and venture capital firms in public and private financings. Conger has worked on transactions involving companies throughout the United States, Canada, Australia, France, Korea, Japan, China, Singapore, Germany and the United Kingdom.

Conger is a founder and principal of Cornerstone Realty Holdings, a company that acquires and manages multifamily properties. In addition, Conger currently serves on the board of directors for Revenue Cycle Partners, a manager of hospital receivables based in Billings, Mont.; Xagg Inc., a search and content management software company in Bend, Ore.; and Trinity Lutheran Church in Bend, Ore.

He previously served on the board of directors of the North Coast Small Business Development Center, 41st Agricultural District of California and California Small Business Development Advisory Council. Conger is a member of the state bars of Oregon and California, as well as the American Bar Association and the Deschutes County Bar Association.

Conger received his bachelor's of arts from California State University Humboldt in 1997 and his Juris Doctor from Harvard Law School in 2000. While attending law school, Conger was a teaching fellow at the Harvard Department of Government and the Berkman Center for Internet and Society, an Internet think-tank affiliated with Harvard Law School. After graduating, he was appointed adjunct professor of law at the University of San Diego School of Law.

Prior to beginning his law practice, Conger served four years as a congressional aide, co-founded a successful real estate investment company and was involved the business development and management of several private companies.
