NEWS: Miller Nash Partner Gary Christensen Elected Chair of the Construction Law Section of the Oregon State Bar
PORTLAND, Ore – March 8, 2010 – Miller Nash LLP partner Gary Christensen has been elected for a one year term as the new chair for the Construction Law Section of the Oregon State Bar following several years on the executive committee and as an officer.
"Gary has more than 20 years of construction law experience and his deep understanding of the construction industry will be a tremendous asset to the Construction Law Section of the Oregon State Bar," said Don Burns, managing partner of Miller Nash. "Gary is a natural leader, and the construction industry will benefit greatly from this election."
Christensen has practiced law since 1988 when he joined Miller Nash. His practice focuses on construction law and commercial litigation, and he is a partner in the firm's construction law practice group. Christensen also co-chairs the firm's technology committee.

The purpose of the Construction Law Section is to work with the Oregon State Bar and other organizations to further common projects related to the legal profession, with particular emphasis on construction law.
